She is known also for her role as a daughter Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and as the daughter of comic Raul Vale. In 1973, she's credited for launching the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) musical genre, which reached the top of charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin performer to make 2 million copies of her music across the United States.
